If you remember David Stockman as Budget Director under President Reagan, you might be interested in an article he wrote a couple of days ago about the election. Before becoming Budget Direction Stockman was a Congressman from Michigan. He was a noted budget hawk and a non believer in supply side economics. He also references the movie “The Candidate” starring Robert Redford and Peter Boyle (the Dad from Everybody Loves Raymond). It’s rather long but worthwhile for many insights.
