OFFICIAL CONVENTION CALL
To: Delegates and Alternates in Kanabec County Elected at the 2026 Caucus
Pursuant to provisions in the Constitution of the Kanabec County Republican Party and the Republican Party of Minnesota, this is an official call for the Kanabec County Convention, issued by the Chairman of Kanabec County. The Kanabec County Republican Party is hereby called to meet on:
Saturday, March 7th, at 9:30 am
Freddie’s Pine Room

Mora, Minnesota 55051
Registration will begin at 9:00 AM with the Convention commencing at 9:30 AM. Registration will close upon the reading of the Final Credentials Report.
The Kanabec County Republican Party Convention is composed of Delegates and Alternates, who reside within the boundaries of Kanabec County, and were elected at the 2026 Precinct Caucuses.
The Convention shall be held for the purposes of:
- The Election of 10 Delegates and up to 20 Alternate Delegates to represent Kanabec County at the 8th Congressional District Republican Convention and at the Minnesota Republican State Convention.
- Consider Precinct/Township Resolutions to adopt and submit to the 8th Congressional District Republican Convention.
- Transaction of such other business as may properly come before the Convention.
Any Delegate or Alternate Delegate elected from their Precinct/Township on February 3, 2026 who would like to be considered for and serve as a Delegate or Alternate to the 8th Congressional District Republican Convention and the Minnesota Republican State Convention (you are elected to both) may self-nominate by calling the Chair, Ayrlahn Johnson at 612-991-0568 in advance of the Convention or meeting with the Nominations Committee between 9:00 am and the start of the Convention on Saturday, March 7. The purpose is to ensure an organized and orderly Convention.
The Kanabec County Republican Party hereby issues this Convention Call in the County of Kanabec, Minnesota on the 3rd day of February, 2026.
