FOUR MORE YEARS! Message from GOP Chair Jennifer Carnahan

Chairwoman Update

Dear Fellow Republicans,

Earlier this week I was fortunate enough to be in Charlotte representing our state at the Republican National Convention business proceedings. While it wasn’t the full in-person convention we were all looking forward to, the Republican National Committee did an outstanding job preparing and organizing this event, under unprecedented circumstances.

On Monday, we unanimously nominated President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Mike Pence as our party’s candidates for the general election ballot on November 3rd. The enthusiasm, energy and excitement couldn’t have been higher.

My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell served as Minnesota’s Delegation Chair and gave our nomination speech; while the rest of our delegation were there to proudly support our state and President.

Live from the Republican National Convention in Charlotte on Monday, August 24, 2020.
Today, I hand delivered to the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office the certification for President Trump and Vice President Pence to be on our general election ballot on November 3rd. It’s a responsibility I took very seriously and we ensured the appropriate certifications so that we can make history by flipping Minnesota in just 68 days!
Today we held a press conference call with the media to preview the remainder of the Republican National Convention, discuss just how in play Minnesota is and highlight the great work being done on the ground across our state by the Trump Victory operation.

To get involved, please click here. The campaign is hosting 7,500 events around the country this week and upcoming is our National Weekend of Action. The team in Minnesota has made more than 2 million direct voter contacts and that number will continue to increase as we engage more volunteers to join the team!

Republican National Convention Night #2

Tonight there were two key portions of the convention that touched my heart and emotions. The first was the naturalization ceremony by President Trump. As an adopted Korean naturalized at the age of three, becoming a United States Citizen is the most important thing that has ever happened in my life. I’m proud of those naturalized tonight to be a part of our country and fulfill their American Dream.

First Lady Melania Trump also gave a heartfelt speech. It was beautiful and thoughtful. We admire our First Lady for her care, concern and kindness towards our country and world. She honored the men and women that have stood on the front lines against the terrible pandemic. On CNN after, Wolf Blitzer even called her speech moving! Are times a changing?

Asian American and Pacific Islander
Inclusion & Outreach

In closing, I officially took over as the Co-Chair of the RNC Member’s Asian American and Pacific Islanders Caucus, along with Juan Carlos (Guam) and Shirlene Ostrov (Hawaii). There are 21 million Asian Americans in our country, representing nearly 6% of our total population. We are the fastest growing diverse group in the nation.

Our priority is widening the tent and delivering more votes to our President through inclusion and events across the nation. I’ll be on the road this week in Ann Arbor, Jacksonville and Las Vegas; leading round table discussions, training, empowerment events and car parades to lift up and build our support in these important communities.

We have 68 days until the general election and there is nothing more important than ensuring we elect President Donald Trump to FOUR MORE YEARS! It’s all hands on deck and we need your help!

Thank you for all you do.
