A Week in the Great Eight
Standing for Freedom for the People of China
Dear friend,
The world has been watching brave protesters in China as they risk everything, including their lives, by standing up to the tyrannical Chinese Communist Party. As we continue to watch those demanding their freedom from Xi and his brutal regime, the Biden-Harris Administration’s silence is abhorrent and disheartening to those who look to America as a beacon of freedom.
Biden’s first two years in the White House have been filled with policies that bend the knee to Communist China. In the new House Republican majority starting in January, we will be focused on holding China accountable and ending their chokehold on our supply chains.
As the Republican leader on the Energy and Minerals Subcommittee in the House, I plan on continuing my efforts to end America’s unnecessary dependence on China for critical minerals. Right here in northern Minnesota, we have been blessed with an abundance of critical minerals and other natural resources. I will do everything in my power to ensure that we put an end to choosing adversarial nations for our needs and instead turn to the American workforce!
We have the minerals, and we have experts who are ready to get to work, we just need a president who will choose America over China.
America remains the last best hope for man on earth. Standing with freedom-loving protestors in China should not be a political issue. I hope that my colleagues in Congress on both sides of the aisle can come together, stand up against the CCP’s human rights abuses, and end our reliance on the Chinese Communist Party once and for all.
