This is amazing. A very ethical, un biased opinion.

Yesterday the Ramsey County Court ruled that the 2024 binary trigger ban was unconstitutional. Notably, Judge Castro also called into question the validity of the entire 2024 tax omnibus bill, due to its violation of Article IV section 17 of our state's Constitution, known as the Single Subject and Title Clause, which states, “No law shall embrace more than one subject, which shall be expressed in its title.” It was clear to anyone paying attention that the bill went far beyond the scope of a “tax” bill.

For those who may not remember what happened at the end of last session, in the minutes before our constitutionally-mandated adjournment time, Senate Democrats did the unthinkable and showed an unprecedented abuse of power by forcing a vote on a 1400+ page bill that legislators did not even have a chance to review. The bill included dozens of topics and issue areas unrelated to taxes.

Not only is yesterday’s ruling a win for law-abiding gun owners, but it recognizes a continuing problem with omnibus bills and how they are abused.
