The Democrats’ Post-Convention Bubble Is Bursting

In the aftermath of Joe Biden dropping out of the Presidential race, Democrats became giddy at the prospect of “anyone but Joe” on the ballot. They got Kamala Harris, and in short order, Tim Walz as her running mate. These two candidates (who had not gotten a single vote during the primary season) were then anointed in Chicago at the Democrat National Convention. Of course, the immediate polling for this “dream” ticket had all the Lefties drooling at the prospect of a landslide victory.
But serious observers of the political process know that reality always sets in. Here in Minnesota, a recent KSTP/SurveyUSA poll documents what we, and the rest of the voting public, have known all along: Kamala Harris is a Left-wing San Francisco Democrat with views even more radical than Bernie Sanders. She is AOC without a bartender’s license. And we all know Tim Walz to be a Left-wing partisan extremist with a mean streak.

It shows that Harris only has a 5 point lead in Minnesota – HALF of her previous 10 point lead before she chose Walz as her running mate. Additionally, the poll has a 4.5% credibility interval. We are within striking distance here in Minnesota.
